As a regular fixture at the world’s top clubs and festivals, Glasgow born producer and DJ Gary Beck has long been established as a primary figure in techno.

Known and respected for his unique sound, he has gained support from the best names in the business and released music on some of the genre’s leading labels, including institutions such as Soma, Cocoon & Drumcode, as well as his own BEK Audio imprint. Since his emergence onto the scene in 2007, Beck has accumulated an impressive list of achievements. Highlights include a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, two Boiler Room session’s, featured music on BBC 1 Drama ‘Stonemouth’, as well as numerous collaborations with exceptional talents such as MR. G, GreenVelvet, Debra Debs, Mark Broom and Speedy J. 2012 saw the release of his seminal debut album ‘Bring a Friend’ on the legendary Soma Records label.

It was their 100th release, and this was a great honour for Gary. His second album ‘Dal Riata’ was released in November 2019. Gary also enjoys producing under his alias’s Sosak & Tanera. In terms of performing, Gary has appeared at some of the worlds largest and respected clubs and festivals, with shows at renowned venues such as Womb Tokyo, Fabric London, Awakenings, T in the Park Scotland, Spazio Rome, Output NYC, Printworks London, and Timewarp, to name a few.

In addition to a busy performance schedule, Beck spends time as head of BEK Audio, an imprint which has quickly become one of the most revered techno labels on the scene after releases from the likes of Floorplan, Mark Broom, Slam, DJ Rush & Ritzi Lee.’  Gary say’s on approaching the 52nd release “I initially set up the label as a release platform for my own music, however that quickly changed. I don’t put myself under any pressure with the releases. It simply has to be really good !
